152MC – James Cooper
Having deaf parents I always had questions to ask my Mum and Dad about what they could actually hear. My Mum always said that it was like being underwater constantly. So then it got me thinking about looking into photographers that capture people underwater. Then I looked upon the photographer, James Cooper. James is an art photographer who lives in Bermuda. This location is key to his photography as it consists largely of underwater photography. However, his work isn’t about documenting marine wildlife, instead he depicts people in water accompanied by surreal props like horse masks, spray paint can or bright string. James gets in the water himself, allowing him to direct his photography easily.
